Word out of Indianapolis is that Colts center Jeff Saturday undergoing a successful knee surgery, and is now undergoing rehabilitation therapy. He is a four-time Pro Bowl member and a four-time All-Pro selection.

The Colts announced Saturday expected to miss at least two preseason games while he is rehabilitates his surgically repaired knee. Although we suspect that number may actually be higher.

 The 35 year old Saturday joined the football team during the 1999-2000 season. The four time pro bowl selection has been a crucial element of the Colts. As well as providing a exceptionally solid protection for Colts quarterback Peyton Manning during the last 11 seasons, during his tenure with the club he has missed only six games.

As well as his rock solid protection of Manning, he is also known for his late block on Vince Wilfork , the New England Patriots nose tackle, which allowed running back Joseph Addai to score the winning touchdown during the 2007 AFC Championship match.
